The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the very 1st of the 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Is it real? Does the weight loss diet handbook truly work?
I was pretty skeptical when I first heard if from my brother.
But after searching for something that works without having to kill myself in the process, I went ahead and bought. The handbook shows you a diet cycle that lasts 11 days and you will be able to continue to keep losing more weight. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the idiot proof diet work? Did I Manage to Lose 9 Pounds?
Although I didn’t lose exactly 9 pounds, it was pretty close. I dropped 8.3 pounds through the very 1st round of the weight loss diet. I even started seeing results within days of being on the weight loss diet.
The handbook is pretty easy to follow as there is no difficult rules or procedures. Besides that, I didn’t have to pay additional money for any other programs or equipments besides the.
The food that you can eat for the diet is easily found and I could find food that didn't require much cooking as I could throw my food together and start eating in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Will I have to Starve Myself?
When I talk to my friend about my new found treasure, they will all start asking if starving is required and the immediate response was there was no way they will be able to keep away from food.
However in this particular diet, there isn’t any need to starve. And…you will be able to eat 4 meals per day! Yes, just my eating more meals per day, your body will be kept constantly working on the food eaten. This increase the metabolism rate of your body, thereby making sure that your body burns more calories as compared to before.
After that, the next question…what are the food we need to avoid?
Of course, you cannot be eating boxes of cakes and pizza, and still expect yourself to drop pounds. But you will still get to eat those food before your second cycle of the diet. I will tell you more about that in awhile.
Now, you will still be able to eat your carbohydrates like pastas. You will have the choice from a range of food like meat, which I can’t live without, cheese, eggs and definitely fruits and vegetables. This diet, unlike the other diets, helps you to lose weight without affecting your health. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about becoming sick from being on the weight loss diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? In the end, you will end up craving for food that you cannot have. Yes, it is true that what you can’t have always make it so much more desirable.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after a month or so, I would usually give up as I don’t see the results and it is just too much sacrifice for diets that don’t work!
Then this is where the diet gets really awesome. Once the 11 days of diet is over, you will get to enjoy 3 “cheat” days from the diet. During the 3-day break, you get to eat ANYTHING you want. I am currently taking my 3 days break right now and I am absolutely loving it!
Will I Gain Weight while on the 3 Days Break from the the Diet?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Also, during the 3 days of cheat in the diet, I didn’t crave much for unhealthy food, I actually craved quite a lot for fruits. Perhaps the diet had changed altered my habits. Besides that, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much due to the habit of eating 4 times a day.
My close circle of friends joined me in the weight loss journey and it worked great for us. We did’t end up wolfing down every unhealthy food we could find as we didn’t have to starve ourselves white we were on the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
So the 3 days mini break is a great aspect of the idiot proof diet…especially so for a person like me. I really don’t have lots of self-discipline so usually, I can’t help but end up cheating in all the diets I had been on.
It was the very first diet that I could go through without cheating. I sailed through the idiot proof diet and lose weight without much effort on my part!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. They give you so much flexibility, allowing you to make your choices based on what you prefer.
Plus….you will even be able to enjoy night snacks!
Yes! I was over the moon when I saw that. I am one of those who stays up late every night and those normal diets will end up with me growling in hunger. I would be so hungry that I can’t even get to sleep properly. And normally, I would end up so hungry that I would wolf down whatever I could find in the fridge, eating more than I should have.
And…You will be able to drink wine!
I’m sorry if I got you to think that you will be allowed to drink bottles and bottles of beer per day. You will be able to enjoy your drinks, but not too much. It is alright to drink a glass of wine per day.
